Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring Experience Sara focuses on financial restructuring matters, representing debtors, creditors’ committees and servicers of commercial mortgage securitized trusts in complex chapter 11 reorganizations, workouts and litigations. Ms. Wahl has particular experience in the oil and gas and real estate industries. Her recent engagements include— debtor Edge Petroleum Corporation debtor Foothills Resources, Inc. debtor Embarcadero Partners, L.P. the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of LandAmerica 1031 Exchange Services, Inc. Ms. Wahl is actively involved in pro bono work, representing the KIPP Foundation on various transactional matters and acting as appointed attorney ad litem in connection with matters involving the Texas Department of Children and Family Services. She is a contributing author to the Mortgage and Asset Backed Securities Litigation Handbook, by T. Franklin and T. Nealon, III (Thompson/West 2008).
