Experience

Rich Marshall has an extensive background in real estate and real estate finance. Rich's real estate practice focuses on the acquisition, disposition, development, leasing and financing of real property. He is regularly involved in multi-million dollar transactions across the country and has represented nationally known developers, institutional lenders and Wall Street investors.  Rich also has significant experience in sophisticated loan work-outs and structuring complicated business/partnership settlements.

In addition to providing legal guidance on real estate transactions, Rich routinely counsels clients regarding general business matters and assists them with the acquisition and disposition of business entities. He also assists clients with the structuring and formation of special purpose entities and start-up companies.

Rich takes a "real world" approach to practicing law.  While providing sound legal advice is crucial, Rich understands that he must facilitate the transaction...not bog it down.  As a result, Rich remains focused on the client's overall objectives and tries to forge a good working relationship with co-counsel.  For Rich, responsiveness, reliability and sound judgment are of utmost importance.

Rich previously practiced law at major regional and international firms, and is a frequent lecturer for professional organizations in the Dallas area.
